Dreamland with Satan by Apples13

This is a unique, stylish, and interesting piece in which the background is a character in its own right. The drawing is very accurate ...

I used to be a Generic Salesperson, Level 1 (not my real title, haha) but my supervisor thinks I'm doing well enough to make me a specialist in the brand I sell! That means I'll learn all the details about the fit and material in order to answer customers' questions better, and after a while I'll get free clothes from the brand so I can advertise it by looking awesome. Yaaay!

Since February is a slow month at the store, I'll be working fewer hours, but at least I'll have more time to work on art. Hope to be back soon to the realms of the deviantART living. (I've actually been making a good bit of art, but I haven't been posting it. Better get on that.)

"The world is not yet done." Here we are, adding to the world with every word and every picture. I've been building my own little world for years, and I love wandering through everybody else's worlds too.

:bulletred: Plays cello
:bulletorange: Makes art
:bulletyellow: Comments and critiques
:bulletgreen: Has a tiny piece of pencil lead embedded in her right palm, which is the source of her artistic powers [jk, it's not]
:bulletblue: Worked in Japan for a year
:bulletpurple: Got schooled (B.A. in music and visual arts, 2011)
:bulletred: Speaks English (duh), German, and just enough Japanese to go shoe shopping.
:bulletorange: Joined dA as andalasur back in 2005.
:bulletyellow: Is writing a novel based on the epic (?) fantasy story she started at age 9. It's significantly less terrible now.

:bulletgreen: What does Valkeus mean? :bulletgreen:
Valkeus technically means 'white' in Finnish, but here it's the name of one of my muses (the white one with black details). Valkeus represents my quest for excellence, so he's the 'patron muse' of this account. You can see my muses [here].

:bulletblue: Comments! :bulletblue:
I get so happy when people tell me why they like something (or even why they don’t like it). I joined deviantART in 2005, and this ancient piece of mine [link] shows the kind of comments and critique people gave back then. That community spirit helped me a lot, so I try to give that kind of feedback when I can.

:bulletpurple: Watchers and Friends :bulletpurple:
I am grateful for every watcher, but I don't always give watch for watch.
Please don't feel bad if I don't watch you back, or wait a long time to do so :) I do return helpful comments and critiques, though! I tend to become friends with people who give detailed comments and love to talk about art.

:bulletred: Journal Tags and Chain Letters:bulletred:
Friends, feel free to tag me in your journal quizzes! I might do the quiz, I might decline, or I might answer the questions on your journal but not repost it. I don't pass on chain letters, though - sorry!

:bulletpink: I disappear a lot :bulletpink:
...but I always come back! Be patient with me and I'll give you quality comments and responses. I don't forget my friends.

Just as a totally random question, which types of morality do you find most appealing or interesting in fiction: black vs white, grey vs grey, white vs white, white vs grey, grey vs black, or black vs black (Warhammer 40k is a good example)? Or, do you think the types of moralities are an irrelevant way to categorize fiction?

Hi there, I'm really sorry to bother you but I asked my friend :iconembolden-rose: for a critique on my two best pieces and she said you were a lot better at critiquing and referred me to your page.
Do you think you could maybe critique a couple of my pieces?
I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks for entering and thanks for the picture!
